Puck’s Mason Mitchel signs two-year NHL Contract
On March 2, 2017, the Capitals announced signing forward Mason Mitchel to a two-year contract starting in the 2017/18 season. The 22-year-old forward, from Calgary, is currently playing for the University of Alaska/Anchorage (NCAA) where he leads the team in goals with 14 points in 31 games.
“I’ll be watching and cheering Mason on just as I have done since he first arrived joined me on the ice,” comments Richards. “This is a proud moment for us here at Pucks hockey.”
“I am very proud of Mason,” states Richards. “His hard work and dedication has paid off and he is deserving of this contract.”
